Bahia Salinas is located in Cabo Rojo directly on the beach and surrounded by a 2,800-acre fish and wildlife refuge. The 28 guestrooms portray a Spanish Mediterranean decor, featuring balconies and high-speed wireless Internet. The indoor/outdoor dining establishment, Agua al Cuello Bistro, serves seafood and local fruits and vegetables sure to satisfy the kids taste buds. Children will love playing in the swimming pool that is only steps from the beach, while parents may want to check out the CUNI Spa, located between the sea and the salt flats. Nearby, there are many snorkeling, scuba diving and other water sport opportunities.

We are locals and I feel ashamed that this kind of places still open. I know from the past this place was nice, but apparently is not longer from the same owners. Even rate nights are like $100 per night is the worst place that you can stay.
Immediately we enter to the room we run out as soon as we can.
This place needs to be closed or be sale to another owners rush. Without staff, without clients.
Is better to pay $25 more and be safe than this type of crap.

We had bad experience from the beginning front desk look from the 80's even had a fridge in it. Staft not friendly, giving a lot of rules. Stayed at room #101 had abucket collecting water next to the door. Room very outdated bed terrible to sleep on. Almost no water pressure in the shower. No blower. Lamp table didn't worked an when i told the front desk they told me to unplugged it and wait until the next day for someone to look at it. Baech can't walk or swim. Pool area poorly maintained furniture in bad conditions. Breakfast terrible and staff very rude. Dinner was average it was ncluded but we had to paid for the soft drinks. Staff not trained for hospitality business. Dont stay!
