My boyfriend took me here for my bday weekend.
The reason why we booked this hotel was to use the spa that was not working and had not for some time..you could use the spas at their sister resorts..but its just not the same. So that was disappointing.
We got a standard room.
The room was clean and cute but small and the bed was not that comfortable but okay.
No fridge in the room :(
Chilis was awesome..food was good..breakfast was great too.
I prob would not stay here again. I feel like you should get a discount or some kind of comp (free dinner) for their amenities not working though.

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of our honeymoon trip. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the room had a lounge (with fireplace) and small kitchen, with a mezzanine bedroom and bathroom. It had a balcony with great views of the mountains behind the hotel.
The room was maybe slightly tired but it was also really quirky and cozy.
The staff had also very kindly left us a card and bottle of wine to help celebrate our honeymoon.
The location is good, maybe 10-15 mins walk from downtown Banff, but there is a Roam bus stop just outside too.
The only slight niggle was that the pool was out of order due to a leak - this had been one of the things that attracted us to the hotel so a bit disappointing at first, but these things happen and the hotel was dealing with it brilliantly. Guests could visit the pools of 3 associated hotels - one with a hot tub on the roof :)
Overall a great place to stay.
