At the sprawling 768-room Fairmont Banff Springs, built in 1888 as a replica of a Scottish baronial manor home, parents can soothe aching muscles from hiking or skiing at the hotel’s 35,000-square-foot Willow Stream Spa. During July and August at the Banff Springs Kid’s Club, ages 6 through 13 learn about wolves, play golf, take a river float trip, learn how to take digital photos and play disc golf. The resort also has a junior golf program plus a kids-oriented fitness program, RU Ready, as well as an 18-hole golf course.

What else can you say for a place that has everything: views, rooms, restaurants, spas, hiking, shuttles, heated pools, 5th floor lounge, late night menus, bars galore, excellent service.
Plus you are in the most pristine places on the planet.
If you are in Banff you must stay at this hotel and spare no expense!! Treat yourself

A once in a lifetime chance to stay at the Fairmont Springs as I was attending a conference. The exterior, lobby, shops, bars, banquet hall and restaurants are fantastic and opulent. Great service (full of friendly kiwis and Ozzy's having a great OE) with breathtaking views. The rooms on the third floor where we stayed were nice but at the end of the day were just another hotel room. If you ever get the chance to stay grab it but not sure if I would want to pay the eye-watering full rates.
I have it on good authority that the gold level was well worth the extra money.
