I cannot believe this place doesn’t have a perfect 5 star rating. Our experience was perfect from the time we arrived to the moment we checked out. We arrived on Wednesday evening for a retreat for families of children with Down syndrome that started Thursday morning. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The cabins are great and the view from the back porch was incredible. On our retreat we had family activities of archery, clay shooting, tomahawk throw and of course horseback riding and feeding the longhorns. The staff running our activities were again top notch, patient and kind.
Every meal from the biscuits and gravy at breakfast to the salads and steaks at dinner was delicious.
Our absolute favorite employee was SHAWN...... Shawn just went above and beyond. She was so gracious with our kiddos and their special needs, she was happy to get us whatever we needed, she always had a huge smile on her face and it was genuine.
What a wonderful weekend!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Wildcatter and SHAWN!!!

Stayed for 2 nights at the ranch and really enjoyed it!
We were staying in the main hotel, we had a room with 2 double beds, the beds were super comfy and had great pillows! There was everything we needed in the room.
We ate in the steak house both evenings and the food was lovely - portion sizes were small than expected but it was nice as it meant I actually finished a meal! I can recommend both the surf and turf and the salmon!
The rosemary and Cheddar biscuits are amazing!
We also ate breakfast both mornings, really good value for $12 per person. Again the biscuits were amazing, I had them with the homemade Jam.
There are loads of activities to do, we did the horse riding, archery and feeding the long horns. The cowboys are super friendly and ready to answer all questions thrown at them!
It was a fantastic experience would recommend it!
