unfriendly front desk

No shuttle as advertised was told to call a checker cab (contracted by comfort inn) and they will pay the cab driver. When I got into the cab the driver demanded that I must tip him because the hotel doesn't tip. (I will give a tip but do not demand, plus I'm female and traveling solo. I complained to the female front desk but she seems nonchalant.

The heater in my room is not working, the same female front desk says it takes a while to warm up. I waited for about 2 hours and still not warming up my room. The same front desk person said there's nothing she can do. Non-symphathetic non-apologetic attitude.

A bit surprised.

Stayed here several times in the past. A convenient location. Friendly staff. I was disappointed in that the room did not smell good. Perhaps a previous customer had an animal in the room. I will try this place one more time but any irregularity will be the last..
