It’s hard to beat this Buckingham Palace location, and Hotel 41’s luxurious hotel is ranked one of London’s top properties. A boutique hotel, the five-star Hotel 41 features only 30 rooms and suites tucked away on Buckingham Palace Road. Formely a private mansion, Hotel 41 became a hotel property in 1998. Families will find they are welcome, and kids receive a separate check-in with welcome pack, special turndown treats, child-sized bathrobes and slippers, cribs and small cots, kids’ menus, and packed lunches to take away for sightseeing excursions. The hotel provides free snacks from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. all day, as well as free ice cream, afternoon tea, champagne at check in, evening hors d’ouevres from 6 to 8 p.m., and more treats from 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. In fact, the hotel provides so many snacks and treats, you’ll feel like a guest in a home, where you are allowed access to the kitchen at all hours. Onsite dining is available in the hotel’s casual bbar and restaurant, as well as a dinner-only fine dining Library Restaurant.
No two of the 30 guest rooms are alike, with rooms outfitted with king or double beds. Junior Suites are split level with a bedroom on the upper floor and a lounge on the lower floor. The Conservancy Suite features a split level, as well, with a king bedroom, a separate dining room, living room, and two bathrooms. Families will especially like the hotel’s one- and two-bedroom apartments. These feature fully equipped kitchens and sofa beds in the living room for additional guests. Those staying in apartments also enjoy free Wi-Fi, DVD players, iPod docking stations, and washers and dryers.
Pets are also welcome at the hotel, with beds, toys, treats and clean-up bars.
