Graciously sitting on the hem of Lake Tahoe, this resort offers 17 acres with amenities galore, including its own private beach; a heated pool that’s open all year long; two nonheated pools, including a childrens’ wading pool; two hot tubs complimentary parking and a deluxe continental breakfast, including a variety of yogurts, pastries, bagels, waffles, juices and cereals.
Many travelers say that reserving a Lakeland Village town home is the best choice. All of the town homes are tri-level, offer one to five bedrooms (all with lofts) and provide lakeview decks, fully equipped kitchens and fireplaces.
Family Activities
In the summer, Lakeland offers a daily complimentary Kids Camp with a plethora of fun activities for ages 4 to teenagers (five-to-one counselor-to-child ratio), tennis and volleyball courts and free shuttle rides to various spots around town. You’ll also find the Lakeland Ski and Board Shop on site, and you’ll get complimentary use of snowshoes. In the winter, look for complimentary shuttles to Heavenly Resort and anywhere in town.

Stayed at Lakeland Village early September 2019 with a small group of friends. The unit was clean and stocked with the necessary supplies. Both pools and hot tubs were not crowded and worked fine. We booked a fishing trip next door at the pier and were able to walk over to the boat. Walked over to the casinos about a mile up the street. We could have taken the resort shuttle but it was an easy stroll. Have read some of the other reviews but we experienced none of the problems other people had. One issue I did have was they had to close the fitness center a couple of days due to maintenance. Overall a very nice stay.

Very rarely do I think a place should get negative stars. But this rating is strictly on its employees and manager, Noel Peterson.
We rented a 4 bedroom condo as it stated it was close to everything and included free parking therefore based on this we chose this location over other hotels, condos, and Airbnb’s we have stayed in Tahoe. We had three cars with an infant in each car. When we arrived and checked in at 4pm. We were told they could only accommodate one parking spot per unit even though half the parking lots were empty. They told us we would have to go to an offsite parking lot about 10 minutes away, then call them to have a shuttle come to the offsite parking lot to pick up and then bring back to the hotel. The offsite would have no security. They explained our situation about the infants and the employee said “that’s your problem.” What? What service is that?
We asked to talk to a manager, Noel Peterson, who turned out to be even a bigger douchbag. We informed him on their website it said they offer free parking. He told us he cant guarantee what the site states but he can’t do anything. He told us that if we have a complaint we could send him an aggressive email and handed us his card. What does that mean? Why would we go to our hotel room and write an aggressive email to him? What good would this do if we are explaining the problem to him in person. He clearly should not be a manager. Even if they have a problem accommodating parking and or any problem, they need to learn better customer service skills to communicate with their customers. They should never tell a person that’s your problem or go write me an aggressive email. Wouldn’t stay here again. Picture of empty parking lot will be posted later
