For families who appreciate easy access to nature, this is the place to stay. With hiking trails and horseback riding on site, plus an outdoor pool, tennis courts and even skeet shooting, there’s loads to do outdoors on the expansive property that is a five-minute drive to the Santa Fe Plaza. A supervised kids’ camp for ages 5 to 11, with arts and crafts, games, scavenger hunts and sports, is offered daily in the mornings from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and on Saturdays the rest of the year. The cost is $60 per child and includes lunch. Parents can also enjoy a night to themselves, while the kids are being supervised and fed dinner during the Evening Round Up (Monday to Saturday in the summertime; Fridays and Saturdays in the off-season). The cost is $45 per child, and includes dinner. There are also complimentary family activities every afternoon in the summer including Hula-Hoop games, potato sack races and bubble-gum-blowing contests.

This resort is 1st class all the way around! So many things to do and see! Loved the snow! Follow printed rules! Staff is professional, fun and knowledgeable. The views are lovely. The best experience ever!

We went for our anniversary. The property is beautiful and just far enough from town to make you feel like you're in the country. The room was large as was the balcony. The staff were all locals so they could answer any question I had from a good place to eat to why are most of the buildings in town the same color. Art pieces are scattered around the property. I'd go again, given the opportunity.
