Families staying at the Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf can dine at two restaurants offering a basic breakfast and light fare for dinner. Both are child-friendly and perfect for the family more interested in exploring areas outside of the hotel grounds. Just a three-block walk from Fisherman’s Wharf, this hotel also provides easy access to the ferries that take you to Alcatraz and Sausalito and is a short walk, bus, or cable car ride to downtown.

This hotel has a great location. Walking distance to the Pier and great restaurants. The staff was great, the room was comfortable. They have fire pits outside which are wonderful. Nice to enjoy an evening cocktail or your morning coffee.
I am giving it 3 stars for 3 reasons. 1. The parking was super expensive ($ 62 for 24 hours). 2. The buffet breakfast also expensive ($ 35 pp), nothing special and not worth it. 3. The bathroom was so small! There is a separate room for the toilet / bathtub-shower. The swing of the door just passes the tub. You practically need to climb over the toilet to close the door. Sheraton may want to consider installing pocket doors.

We stayed 2 nights. We were able to walk most everywhere-Pier 39, Ghiredelli Square, and fishermans wharf. Hotel was great-great location, great staff and comfortable rooms. I stayed here 10 years ago and it was still just a good as it was then.
