There are 350 rooms at Lodge of Four Seasons; you can choose to stay in the Main Lodge, Lanai (best in summer), Seasons Bay, or Atrium (overlooking the marina). There are suites available in the Main Lodge. In addition, there are newer two- and three-bedroom condominiums located in a cove on the water, or within a semi-private, gated community. If you don't mind being a hike from the main resort they are a feasible option, and include shuttle service to the main resort ,which is about a mile away. The condos all have fully-equipped kitchens, washers and dryers, and some have screened-in porches.

Good customer service comfortable room for our group with lots of space. All the amenities that we needed and more. The spa is pricey for what it is. Even in the off-season prices are high. Over all a good stay.

I was assigned a room in the Avila building. Very nice room and even though I couldn't see the lake, the view from the balcony was nice. They send a golf cart to provide transportation back and forth to the main building. The only downfall with my room was that there wasn't a long mirror to use. I think they did a pretty good job with our conference.
Family Activities
Much of the activity centers around the lake. Rent some rods and teach the kids to fish at the dock, go wave running on the lake, charter a fishing boat for the day, or rent your own and take the family exploring. The Lodge has a large marina, which can accommodate up to 200 boats. There is also a water taxi which can take you to local restaurants, or just provide a tour of the lake. There are also three outdoor pools, which are not heated and open only in summer, as well as one indoor pool open all year.
The Adventure Club for Kids is an indoor play area for potty-trained children ages 3 and older. There are slides, group excursions and game room activities, and it's open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. To call it a full-fledged children's program is a bit of a stretch; but if you're looking for some grown up time and you're visiting in summer, check it out. The cost is $10 per hour per child, or free if you want to stay and supervise your children yourself. A babysitting list is available.
There are also two golf courses at the resort: Witches Cove and Seasons Ridge. The nearby Club at Porto Cima is surrounded by lake water and is the only 18-hole waterfront course in Missouri.
Limited Tee times are available there to resort guests.
The 15,000-square-foot Spa Shiki offers massages, body treatments, facials, and salon treatments, as well as a fitness center, steam, sauna and whirlpool.
Family Dining
Breezes restaurant serves up breakfast and lunch daily, and families can eat inside the atrium or dine outside under the umbrellas with a view of the gardens. The menu has salads and sandwiches for lunch, and a breakfast buffet. During summer weekend nights, there is an all-you-can-eat Italian Buffet, and all-you-can-eat Mexican on Saturday.
The Witch's Cove Bar & Grill and the Season's Ridge Grill are two places to grab a quick bite on the golf course, open seasonally to anyone. Witch's Cove is currently closed through May 2009 as renovations are made to the Witch's Cove golf course. Soleil has bagels, breakfast sandwiches and Danishes to go, and is open seasonally. HKs is open from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. year-round, and overlooks the lake and the Japanese gardens. HKs serves steaks, pasta and fresh seafood that is flown in daily, and also has a separate bar menu that will appeal to the kids, with burgers, pizza and sandwiches.
