Roughly a one-hour drive from the center of Panama City, Soberania National Park is one of the world’s most accessible tropical forests. A variety of walking trails provide you with a close-up look at the national park’s incredible wildlife, including some 525 species of birds.
The best trail for bird watching is Pipeline Road. About a mile from the entrance to Pipeline Road is the Panama Rainforest Discovery Center, which has an observation tower and informative exhibits.
