This WWII aircraft carrier gives families a realistic idea of what it was like to live and work on a military ship. This 16-story ship displays tons of military artifacts throughout each deck of the ship.
The 3D theater experience is a great place to start on the main deck, as it takes guests through the in’s and out’s of how an aircraft carrier functions in cool 3D fashion. Then get ready to climb ladders up and down the ship, where you can visit each deck and see how the sailors lived and worked. Check out the dentist office, mess hall, engine rooms, bunk quarters and much more. The flight deck has several aircraft on the display and families can visit the Bridge, where the captain had complete control.
The tour is self-guided but you can book a guided, behind-the-scenes tour for an additional cost.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Labor Day through Memorial Day
Things to Know/Bring
-Expect to spend two to three hours here.
-There is stroller parking on the main level and an elevator takes guests to the Flight Deck, but in order to see the other decks, families must climb up and down ship ladders.

A cafe with snacks, hot dogs, nachos and beverages is onsite.
