This AA affiliate minor league stadium, home of the Frisco RoughRiders, is nestled into the heart of downtown Frisco and is beloved for its intimate, small-town feel.
It stands out among other stadiums for its architecture (styled similar to a southern beach house, with grey plank siding, bright white trim, and large verandah/patio spaces). Another thing that sets this stadium apart from others is the Choctaw Lazy River, which winds around the outfield, allowing fans to enjoy a cool float while they cheer on the home team.
For younger kids, there are two large play structures to keep busy while parents chat nearby and enjoy a cold beer. There’s also a bouncy house, and onsite food trucks.
Older kids who are baseball fans can sidle up to the players for an autograph in the signing area. The RoughRiders host family nights throughout the season, along with regular post-game fireworks.
