A must-stop for train enthusiasts, this outdoor museum features several vintage locomotives spanning several eras in train travel, from a 1931 Santa Fe Doodlebug to a Pullman sleeping car to a Union Pacific Steam Locomotive “Big Boy” – a goliath piece of machinery with wheels the height of an adult, and one of only eight in the world.
The museum is an evolving endeavor and will one day include indoor exhibits and additional rail cars. Visitors on guided tours are welcome to climb aboard these cars and imagine life at the height of train travel.
