This is a stunning, horseshoe-shaped bay, in popular St. George’s. While there are numerous hotels situated on or near the beach, it does not get the massive crowds on most days. There is so much for families — it’s easy to set up shop on the beach for an entire day and enjoy the area’s activities.
There are numerous dining establishments, bars and beer shanties to grab a brew. The food is fresh and fun, and expect local cuisine up and down the beach. The island’s only water park is also located at the beach. It’s a few large inflatables that could keep some children busy for a solid few hours — adults too!
There are local boating attractions that also leave from the beach, including the ever-popular motorboat rides with inflatables and air-raising experiences. There is a rum boat typically filled with cruise ship tourists that docks at the beach for a couple hours some afternoons; however, the beach is ideally landscaped to allow a good flow of people and places where people can always find a spot to grab a wave or some rays.
