The Baths of the Queen Giovanna are a great spot to go when you want to enjoy a swim away from the small and crowded beach in the middle of Sorrento. You can take a public bus to reach this location west of town or walk there from town in about 45 minutes.
There’s a short costal walk and a steep staircase down to reach the swimming area, so it’s not ideal for small kids. But the reward is emerald-green water and a postcard scene of limestone cliffs surrounding a rocky, but beautiful beach.
There are no facilities onsite so bring your own snacks and water.
