This passenger ferry is ideal for families who want to visit Cozumel. The ferry dock can be found in the heart of downtown Playa del Carmen near Fifth Avenue. Both enclosed, air conditioned areas and open-air docks are available for passengers to relax on during the 45-minute route. Hours
Ferries leave both Playa del Carmen and Cozumel on the hour. From Playa del Carmen, hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and from Cozumel, hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Cost
Children under 5 are free. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 pay a discounted rate.
