Located less than 30 minutes outside of downtown Bend, Mount Bachelor features more than 4,300 acres of lift-accessible terrain to enjoy skiing or boarding on the light, dry snow of Central Oregon.
There are more than hundred runs, the longest being 4 miles, and 11 lifts. The long snow season on Mt. Bachelor runs from about November through May, so while it may be kayaking weather in downtown Bend, you can still go skiing on Mt. Bachelor.
Snow tubing, snowshoeing, cross country or Nordic skiing, Heli-ski tours and sled dog rides are also available in the winter. When it isn’t snow season, hiking and mountain biking adventurers fill the mountain. Lessons and rental equipment are available.
