Opened in July 2011, the Biloxi Visitors Center welcomes guests to explore the city’s history through a number of multimedia exhibits. For a complete introduction to Biloxi, head to the second-floor movie theater for a showing of the 10-minute film “We are Biloxi.” Architecture aficionados will appreciate the center’s design, which is inspired by the Dantzler House, a two-story, city-owned structure that stood on the site until 2005, when it was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. In addition, visitors can pick up local maps, plus a wealth of literature on the city’s attractions, dining, shopping and activities.
