This “train” (really it’s an open-air tram car with a roof that is pulled by a Jeep) tours the entire town of Put-In-Bay and gives first-time visitors a great guided tour to start any trip. The one-hour narrated tour makes stops at several family-friendly locations throughout the island and visitors are encouraged to hop on and off the train, as trains run frequently and stop at each location to pick passengers up. A few of the train stops include Perry’s Family Fun Center, Heineman Winery and Crystal Cave and Perry’s Victory Memorial, among other stops. Families will love listening to the unique Put-In-Bay history and how the locals live today while seeing picturesque views of Lake Erie, South Bass Island and Put-In-Bay.
