While Hurricane Harbor is a distinct section of the park, and only open from late May through early September, there is no separate entrance. You have to walk through the park to reach it. With a tropical island theme, this water park includes large pools, including the Commotion Ocean wave pool, lazy rivers, multi-passenger rafting adventures, speed slides, and water playgrounds.
Just like the rest of the park, there are plenty of rides here for thrill-seekers. Typhoon is the “world’s first” ProSlide Rocket water coaster. Cannonball Falls drops you down three steep tubes from the highest point in Hurricane Harbor. The Bonzai Pipelines launches you down a twisting 257-foot slide at 40 mph.
Special areas for little ones include Kiddie Octopus, Kiddie Pirate Ship, and Splash Island.
