In 1982, as the Lawn Lake Flood swept through Estes Park, it washed out this area now known as the Alluvial Fan. You’ll find boulders to climb on, interesting rock formations, a river, a recently rebuilt waterfall, and a picnic area. The scenery is beautiful, and it’s a great place to get a feel for the power of nature.
