In the Meadowlark Garden, visitors will find one of the country’s largest displays of Asian and American Holly, as well as Edgworthia, Witch Hazel, Daphne, Carolina Jessamine and Camillia. Right next door, the Thornhill Hydrangea Garden showcases an impressive collection of hydrangeas from May through September. It also contains a large picnic area, providing the perfect lunch spot for families. In addition, guests can enjoy both gardens as they journey along the .8-mile Holly Trail. Admission to the Meadowlark Garden and the Thornhill Hydrangea Garden is free with general admission to the gardens. It’s open year-round.
