Located along the Boise River Greenbelt, the Morrison-Knudsen Nature Center, also known as the MK Nature Center, offers wildlife experiences for all ages. The Visitor Center and StreamWalk allow families to see the various environments and the animals who call the Boise habitat their home. Kids will enjoy seeing the Beaver Dam Exhibit, the Butterfly Garden and the Wetlands, among the other areas in the center.
The MK Nature Center is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed on Mondays. Admission is free through select programs charge fees.
