Included with admission to the Botanical Garden, Montreal’s Insectarium delights children who take the time to notice the tiny insect life around them. In the Main Exhibition Greenhouse, butterflies fly freely and kids can learn about insects that roam outside in all shapes and colors. At the BuzzGround, kids can climb on various structures and slides, while learning about insects along the way. The Fun Zone also offers children ages 1 to 12 a variety of games based around insects and their habitats. While kids are playing, parents can relax at the nearby Picnic Zone. The Insectarium is open daily and is free for children under 5.
