This local, owner operated surf school is ready to teach all skill levels and ages how to catch a wave. Whether you have surfed before or never touched a board, Tofino Surf School is ready to provide lessons to all, including those with disabilities. The instructors are experienced and trained in First Aid. The group lessons are kept small at about five people per one instructor. The three-hour lessons start on the sand with some demonstrations and instruction but then it is maximized time in the water, where the instructors are always with you.
