Located in the Badlands with views all around. Nice to watch the sunrise and sunset from your own cabin porch. We had a porch at the front and one at the back. The cabin has everything you need. Great beds, a seating area, bathroom and shower, heating and airconditioning. The reception area has also a giftshop and a restaurant. Staff however is not overly customer friendly. We checked in 20 minutes before check inn time of 4pm and were told (yelled at) from behind a desk we had to wait. Not very nice. We ate at the restaurant one time, waiting to be seated there were 6 (!) behind the counter but nobody acknowledged us and we had to wait for 7 minuted before a seeminly annoyed waitress showed us our table. Attitude problems all around. Bein the only restaurant maybe they think they do not need to put in the effort to be friendly. So it was our one and only experience, the other days we stayed we found a different means of dining.

These cabins have been beautifully refurbished on the interior. The beds are plush and comfy, the bathroom is well appointed, and the furniture and fixtures are attractive and appropriately "western." There is a refrigerator, television, and microwave. You are given a bag of ice upon check in. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the sunset play across the hills in front of us and the stars at night. A note of caution - check in was by 5 pm and the on site restaurant had closed at 4:30 - this may be seasonal as we arrived in mid October. Plan your dinner in advance as there aren't many in town options. We were in 119.
