This giant Ferris wheel is located directly on the Potomac River. Families will climb inside the enclosed car and slowly soar 180 feet above the river. On a clear day, you can see the Washington Monument, National Cathedral, and the water and boats below for a perfect view of the National Harbor and Washington D.C. The wheel runs a full rotation several times and the ride itself lasts about 10 minutes.

Hours
Noon to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Sunday.

The car fits up to eight people.

Dining
The Flight Deck, an outdoor bar and lounge situated at the base of the wheel, serves beer, cocktails and coffee drinks. The Flight Deck area is open Friday from 4 to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. It is closed Monday through Thursday.
