Overview

Set right on the Pacific in the west coast Mexico beach town of Manzanillo, this 324-suite luxury hotel is the kind of place families check into and may very well not leave during their stay. The property’s six pools are all connected by waterfall features. And while there’s a small private beach, the pools are more appealing for a swim. There are four onsite restaurants serving Mexican and international cuisine and live entertainment at the property nightly.

Expect mediocre food quality, as a Premium Level Member we were disappointed with few restaurant selections.

The rooms are very spacious with a step down area with a couch, chair, and table with four chairs. There are two TV’s in the room, one you can watch from the bed, the other from the couch. There is a balcony with a table and two chairs. The bathroom is very specious with two sinks, a bathtub and a shower. Plenty of storage space and two closets. There is a coffee maker and a mini fridge. The resort is all inclusive including the mini bar restocked every day. The breakfast is a buffet at two different locations, one by the Japanese restaurant and the other in the Italian restaurant. Lunch is the same, buffet at both locations. Depending on how many nights you stay, you will get a voucher to make dinner reservations at one if three restaurants, Japanese, Italian, or Mexican. Otherwise, it is back to the buffet by the Japanese restaurant. You need to your dinner reservations right away as they fill up fast. There is also a snack shack by the kids pool that serves nachos, hamburgers, and hotdogs. The problem is you can not take the food back to your chaise by the pool to enjoy. The food at the snack shack definitely needs improvement. There is a waiter that will bring you drinks by the pool. We found the Mexican restaurant to be our favorite for dinner. We also enjoyed the spa services and had a massage one day and a facial the next. Prices were very reasonable. They have separate women’s and men’s locker rooms. There is a steam room, showers and toilets in each. They have soap and shampoo and a hair dryer, but no brushes or hair conditioner. The resort has a private beach but it looked very rocky to swim in. There is an adult pool and a family pool. Each night there is entertainment but we found it started too late to enjoy. Golf is nearby. The town would be too far to walk to, so you would need to take a taxi. We found the resort to be relaxing and very lovely. Enjoy!
