One of the largest farms in Bucks County, Shady Brook has been operating for more than 100 years. Families can visit the farm to purchase fresh fruit or pick their own; options include blueberries in the summer, strawberries in the spring and apples and pumpkins in the fall. Fall is especially fun, since the farm hosts a Fall Festival and PumpkinFest. Halloween-themed fun takes place nights and weekends, complete with haunted houses, a haunted maze and haunted hay rides (which aren’t for the faint of heart; daylight, scare-free days are offered for younger kids). During the winter holidays, the farm is converted into a wonderland for its nightly Holiday Light Show, which includes a drive-through journey beneath millions of twinkling lights.
Throughout the year, kids also enjoy inflatable fun, including a giant “pillow” that puts jumping on the bed to shame, along with a Tryke Track for bike races.
