If your family likes scientific antiquities, the Spark Museum of Electrical Invention exhibits scientific achievement through the ages with original inventions by Edison, Tesla and Morse. For a small museum, this place contains an amazing array of famous names and gadgets, as well as a gallery of antique radios and TV’s, a recreation of the Titanic’s Wireless Room and a place to play with static electricity. On weekends, the MegaZapper Electrical Show sends out 4 million volts of purple lightning during a 45-minute show once a day at 2:30 p.m. This museum is best for elementary children and up.
