Formerly the home of Italy’s king and grand dukes, the imposing structure and gardens now house a collection of works of art, including many sculptures and tapestries. The palace charges admission into the home for the museum exhibits, as well as another admission into its Boboli Gardens. If having to select one with the kids, choose the gardens, where the kids can enjoy the park-like area and its beautiful fountains. An amphitheater features summertime concert performances.
