To reach the farthest western point in the continental US, Cape Flattery is worth the drive (best for kids over age 8). The .75-mile hike features a boardwalk and four observation decks with views of the Olympic Coast Marine Sanctuary bays and Tatoosh Island. You can’t help but feel you’re perching on the edge of the world.
