The wealth of the surrounding Caribbean Sea is measured in the extraordinary diversity of its marine life: 183 species of fish, 54 kinds of coral, and 60 types of sponges, much of which can be seen in the 20 dive sites found in the protected Marine Park, but the only way to experience it up close is to dive in.
No experience is necessary; even children as young as 8 can learn to dive or snorkel. All equipment and lessons are provided, and private boat tours to neighboring islands can be arranged.
