Stumbling across Driftwood Beach was no easy task: it required a bike and a sense of exploration before I turned down a sand-covered path to find a beach covered in driftwood. This area is popular for families when the tide goes out and the mud flats become adventure playgrounds for little ones on a quest to dig up clams and chase crabs. It’s well worth the trip.
