The highlight of Ghostly Manor, which was featured on The Travel Channel’s “Best Places I’ve Ever Been,” is the haunted house, which delivers serious scares to those who dare. It proved too frightening for my two kids, ages 10 and 5, and to be honest, I barely made it through myself. This, of course, is a huge compliment! It’s a winding walk-through attraction with room after room of ghoulish horrors and spooky creatures that jump out at you, but never touch. It’s a very unique place, and is the perfect spot to stop for an hour or two with the kids on a rainy or snowy day. It’s ideal for kids ages 10 and older. There are activities for younger kids, including an XD 4D Motion theater (the space coaster is awesome), 3D black-light mini-golf (my kids’ favorite part of the visit), and a skate rink where you can rent inline skates and scooters. There’s a snack stand and a handful of arcade games, with tickets for prizes. Ghostly Manor is open all year. In December, there is a Winter Wonderland walk-through exhibit, which has a major expansion in the works.
