The Lodge at Koele offers trail rides for children ages 9 and above (kids 8 and younger can take a short pony ride around the barn). The trail ride is mellow (horses are quite gentle), through ironwood forest and to scenic viewpoints, where you have a great view of Maui. Group rides that last about 90 minutes are $110/person; pony rides are $25.
