Just when the kids might be getting overloaded with the history and heaviness of the Berlin Wall, take a stroll just a block and a half northwest of Checkpoint Charlie and have a little fun with sausage. This quirky little museum, opened in 2009, tells you more than you ever want to know about German sausages and the Berlin specialty, currywurst. Kids can make their own. Guided tours are offered in English. Plan on lunch here if you like — a snack bar serves at least a dozen varieties of currywurst.
