This private property is still owned by the descendants of the Earls of Bantry and welcomes visitors for partial self-guided tours of two floors in the house. Open daily, March through October, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Most impressive are the Bantry House Gardens, which begins at a fountain at the base of Hundred Steps (aptly named) to witness scenic views of Bantry Bay. Two woodland walking trails cross the property, as well.
