If you’ve heard the words carving and grinding around your house, (and we’re not talking about meat), you’ll want to add the SkatePark to your list. Located in a former shipyard, it’s got everything from banks, to quarters, pyramids with ledges, a staircase with handrails and slidebars. Boards and protective gear can be rented on-site. Check with the park in advance for girls’-only, and open sessions.
