The Sweetest Place on Earth is about to get even sweeter — Hersheypark has announced plans for Chocolatetown!
The $150-million expansion will include the largest full-service, themed restaurant in the area; an old-fashioned ice cream parlor; the Confectionary Scratch Kitchen; and a flagship park merchandise store. There will also be a Starbucks, KISSES Fountain, and a kettle corn station (the largest one at the park).
Chocolatetown will also house a new roller coaster (the park’s 15th!), and will become the new home for the beloved theme park carousel.
The 23-acre expansion is expected to debut in 2020.
