Our family of 21 aging fro 3 to 70 spent a delightful week at Four UR Ranch. Being in the hospitality business ourselves we are very aware of all details and rarely find a place that excels and over delivers on everything. Four UR did just that. First, the setting is spectacular and the snowy winter and wetter than normal spring and summer made our late August week even more special. The staff if friendly, professional and very well trained. The cuisine is delicious and the special steak fry nights and luncheon fish fry were fun outdoor experiences. Goose creek that runs through the ranch provides excellent fly fishing both the novice to the expert and the guides are great. Some first timer caught as many as 18 trout on one outing thanks to the coaching of their guide. At many places horseback riding means walking in single file. At Four UR head wrangler Damon has a very different approach. He wants to teach you how to ride. My 6 and 8 year old grandchildren were loping by the time they left the ranch. For an experienced equestrian the time at the ranch was equally enjoyable. The accommodations were very comfortable and among the many nice touches was fresh coffee placed on your porch each morning. I could go on an on about the many other nice features of Four UR but the best testament is how many people return year after year. We met one family that had been coming back for three decades. For our family, this was the best ever and all said they wanted to return.

When reviewing the website it was hard to imagine that a place that touts "luxury ranch resort"could be ALL that .After my stay I will say that the 4UR surpasses that description. They have brought the history of the ranch and it's beginnings as Wagon Wheel Gap into today's world without sacrificing the charm.
The activities provided are endless;world class fishing,hiking in breathtaking scenery, classic horseback riding thru trails that take your breath away,sharpening your shooting skills,children's programs, working out in the gym or just plain relaxing .
Regardless of the setting, dining room, poolside or the outdoor special meals the food is amazing, ALL meals.
Accomadations are exceptional ,from your room to the hot springs that heat the pool and spa .There is SO much more.
However the most amazing aspect of 4UR is by far the people. From the owners to each and every member of the staff. They make you feel welcome and part of the 4UR family.They are always sure you are comfortable no matter what .If you need anything they are always there for you.
