Overview

The Royal Haciendas is expansive and never feels overcrowded. And at the same time, nothing is ever too far away. This expansive resort is in the shape of two horseshoes, each a mirror image of the other. Guests will find identical amenities on each side. So, while the resort feels huge and never crowded, guests also don’t have to walk miles to reach restaurants or pools.

Families of any size can be accommodated here with the variety of guestroom options. Anywhere from a family of three to six can fit comfortably here and nearly all rooms feature breathtaking views of the ocean and pools. There are several pools, including kiddie pools, to relax by and the sand is only steps away from the pools. Kids will love kayaking or paddle boarding and the supervised kids’ club will entertain them for hours. Even teens have their own space here, where they can play video games and just get away from parents.

The all-inclusive package includes unlimited food and drink from the onsite restaurants, and there is a small supermarket onsite if you prefer to cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen in your villa. For breathtaking views, no overcrowding and plenty of things to do with the family, the Royal Haciendas is your home away from home.

Recomendacion de resort y Alfredo Salvatierra!!! (But not of teppanyaki nights, nor Evening Sol Bar restaurant manager)

by Dana H

We've loved the Royals, vacationing there for years. I've very rarely met an employee as GREAT as Alfredo Salvatierra! He manages the coffee lounge in the a.m., and is so personable, genuine, autentico, humble, smart, sweet, and takes such pride in his job! We can't recommend him enough!
Alfredo went the extra mile and saved my Dad a paper for 2 days after I mentioned it in passing! We feel graced to have become friends with such a special man this year who loves his family, is so consciente, loves working at the Hacienda, and accommodating guests.

P.s. Alfredo Salvatierra much better, less arrogant than Alfredo from activities.

Also, Alfredo Salvatierra more accommodating
and nice than Efren?, However, the night manager of pool bar, teppanyaki who literally couldnt have cared less that we were seated properly or attended, much like the lackluster, ignorant waiter at teppanyaki w slicked back black hair whose name began with G, that blew me off eventho we had a reservation and were first ones there, but they left us sitting, took another group first, eventhough I'd already gone up to say we were there. Extremely poor treatment, such that we just left, bc soooo ruined it for my Dad and I, who were back for first time after recently losing my mom, his wife of what would have been 50 years! Very difficult, and the jerks there should be ashamed for making us feel so unwelcome and cast off, of no consequence. We'll, this is THEIR CONSEQUENCE, AND THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
We do not recommend that very overpriced teppanyaki with piss poor management and service. That Efren? Should NOT be a manager of any thing! The bad way we were treated literally brought me to tears bc of all circumstances, and was a horrible experience.
Would not recommend teppanyaki at all bc also waaaay overpriced.

Great service makes you feel right at home. Our waiter David Chimal was an excellent server.

Our room was very spacious and clean, we couldn't have been more attending. My favorite from my room was the view! We were offered chocolates every evening. Room service was available. We enjoyed our trip very much and hope to return!!

Family Activities

Pools

There are multiple pools to be found throughout the resort, including large main pools, shallow kiddie pools and lap pools. The kiddie pool is great for kids, as well as adults, because there are lounge chairs in the water and under shade. Hammocks are also situated around the pools, as well as lounge chairs and umbrellas. Pool towels are provided. Lifeguards are located at the pool and beach. Restrooms are located near the pools, as well.

Beach

The white sandy beach is located just steps away from the main pools. There, guests will find more lounge chairs and palapas for shade. Kayaking and snorkeling are available off the beach as well. Lifeguards are located at the beach and pool.

Kids' Club

The supervised kids' club (included in the all-inclusive package) is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offers a large, indoor, air-conditioned space for kids to play. The kids can enjoy arts and crafts, games, a foosball and Ping-Pong table and outdoor activities at the beach and pool, too. Lunch is not provided, however, for an additional cost, parents can add on a night time special where kids can visit the club from 6 to 8 p.m. for pizza or movie nights while the adults enjoy a quiet dinner.

Recreation and Activities

A climbing playground is located near the kiddie pools. Volleyball, Zumba, poolside bingo, beach games, kayaking, basketball, face painting, paddle boarding, Ping-Pong, tennis, arts and crafts and movie nights take place at the resort throughout the week.

Teen Center

The indoor, air-conditioned Teen Center features XBox, Wii games, Ping-Pong, movies and more. The Teen Center is a smaller space compared to the kids' club, but as long as it's away from parents, the teens won't mind.

Dive Center

For those who may be seeking scuba diving instructions, the onsite Dive Center is a great place to start. Lessons begin in the pool and are an additional cost to guests.

Family Dining

Sol and Luna Grill

These two open-air, poolside restaurants are identical and located on either said of the two main pools. Things like burgers, salads and tacos are available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kids' menus are available. Beach and poolside service is also available from the grills.

La Palapa del Sol

This open-air buffet restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and overlooks the water.

Los Murales

This fine-dining restaurant, open from 5 to 10 p.m., requires a reservation and dress code. The menu features items like lobster, seafood, steak, pasta and chicken. Live music is also featured here. Kids are welcome to dine here.

La Rotonda

This large center bar located off the lobby in the rotunda also serves fresh sushi, panini and coffee. The game is also always on the large flat-screen televisions here.

The Royal Market

A small but fully stocked, onsite market (basically a mini supermarket) is located off the lobby. Frozen foods, snacks, alcohol, fruits and vegetables can be found in the market. This grocery market is ideal for guests who wish to cook in the villa kitchens. If guests call ahead of time, groceries can be delivered to your room prior to arrival. Grocery costs are an additional fee.

All Inclusive

The Royal Haciendas welcomes time share members and non-member guests at the resort. Most non-member guests opt for the all-inclusive package, which offers unlimited food and drink and a stocked mini-bar in the room.
