Less than a week after Walt Disney World announced it was raising ticket prices, Universal Orlando Resort announced it is raising ticket prices, as well. Single-park tickets will now start at $96, with children’s tickets increasing to $90. The increase, like Disney, reflects a $4 ticket increase.

The increase also comes just before the theme park opens its highly anticipated Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, part of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter already operating at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. A Hogwarts Express train will connect the two, but visitors will need a two-park pass to visit both.

To visit both parks, a one-day, two-park ticket jumped to $136 for adults, and $130 for children, an $8 increase. Two-day, single park tickets are now $155.99 and $145.99 for adults and children, respectively, with two-day, two-park tickets costing $195.99 and 185.88, respectively. These increases range from $10 to $29.

Universal’s pricing remains lower than Disney, which offers its two-day Park Hopper pass for $237.
