Perfect way to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. Our Aunt and Uncle (now 90) visited here 30 years ago and strongly recommended since they knew our love of nature and desire to visit Alaska. The legacy and hospitality are being carried on by the next generation.
The guides are awesome and very knowledgeable. The food was fresh and prepared to perfection. So many different activities you could chose to do or not do. Also highly recommend the hot stone massage! Thank you for the wonderful memories.

We were privileged to stay a KBWL with a group of friends. There aren't enough superlatives. Shannon and Morgan, who've taken over from founding parents Diane and Mike, have assembled a team and created a place that's, in our experience, unique for the service and adventure experience. The most common question we got from the staff was "what can I do for you?" Almost nothing was out of the question. The food is lovely, courtesy of chefs Mindy and Steve. The activities, ranging from easy to strenuous hikes, fishing, kayaking, tide-pool walks, met all out requirements: outdoors, educational and exercise. The staff, and I hope I'm not leaving anyone out - Parker, Lili, Davie, Daniel, Lindsay, Maya, Sabina and Frenchy, mostly local Homerites, clearly love what they do and are passionate about sharing their love and knowledge. I wish I could better convey how memorable this place is, but you'll just have to go there and see for yourselves. And give Buddy and Sitka a scratch for us.
