Default Maui - hotel w/ dolphins?

Any one know the name of the hotel on Maui? where you can swim w/ dolphins right on the property? Isn't that the same hotel with water taxis as well?

I don't know if you can do this on Maui, but there's Dolphin Quest at the Hilton on the Big Island. Is that the one you mean? Not sure what you mean about water taxis.

That's it! The The Hilton Waikoloa Village! I just looked it up and there is a monorail and boat transport as well to get you around the property. That's where I want to stay, too. I had read about it a few years back.

Hi LilMama,
We vacationed there a few years ago and "swam with the dolphins". It was quite expensive but worth every penny--a truly amazing experience!

We were on the Big Island in March and while we didn't stay at the Hilton, we did take a snorkeling trip off the coast just south of there and we were very fortunate to be able to swim with the dolphins in the wild, saw several whales and got to hear them calling to each other and had some great snorkeling. While there's no guarantee you'll see them on every trip, at that time of year it was fairly common and a wonderful experience.
