Located on Lake Mendota and near University of Wisconsin, this historic hotel is in downtown Madison. The 202 guestrooms and suites feature lake views, a refrigerator and connecting rooms are available. The suites also feature a full kitchenette. Families can enjoy meals at any of the four onsite restaurants. And while there is no pool onsite there is an ice skating rink between two of the hotel buildings.

Great place to stay

Great hotel, walking distance to the capitol and multiple restaurants. The room was nicely furnished and very comfortable. I also loved my partial lake view, the windows were perfect for when it started snowing!

Edgewater - excellent service

We had a business meeting at the Edgewater on Sunday, November 3 - Tuesday, November 5.
We will definitely be back as we had excellent service, and they accommodated our business needs.
The State House Restaurant chef prepared some delicious dishes that everyone enjoyed.
