Overview

Adventurer Oceanfront Inn offers affordability and heaps of family-friendly amenities for travelers heading to the Jersey Shore’s Wildwood. In addition, the inn’s location is a big bonus! Adventurer Inn is set right in front of the beach, and it’s just a stone’s throw from the Wildwood boardwalk. Families staying in oceanfront rooms will enjoy beautiful views of the sea — and they can check out conditions on the beach right from their balcony before they hit the sand.
The inn offers lots of amenities that cater to vacationing kids and parents, from efficiency rooms with kitchens and dining areas to onsite laundry facilities to a game room, not to mention a heated beachfront pool with a separate kid’s pool, so it makes sense that families are flocking here.

Room Information
Find the Best Price for Your Stay
The sheer range of rooms available at Adventurer Inn makes finding the right accommodations for your family a breeze. Crib and cot rentals can be arranged by contacting the front desk.
Suites
There are two-, three-and four-room suites with oceanfront, ocean-view and poolside views. Suites are ideal for large families as they provide plenty of privacy with separate rooms and multiple bathrooms (depending on suite selection). In addition, the suites' kitchenettes, which feature full-size refrigerators, pots and pans, stoves, and more, are a great option for budget-minded families looking to cook their own meals.
Guestrooms
The guestrooms on the first floor, which have either one king bed or two queen beds in a single room, and are the cheapest option. There is a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a flat screen television.
Room amenities include private balconies (on all rooms), maid service, climate control and cable TV. The elevators can be a bit slow, which is something to keep in mind when selecting a room on any higher-level floors. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the rooms.
Reviews

I come to the Adventurer twice a year with friends. We visit in May and again in September. The hotel is very clean. The parking is adequate. Their restaurant is a fantastic way to start your day if you wish to remain in the hotel. If not, there are many restaurants in the area for meals at all times of the day. The staff is wonderful. The pool is heated so that even on a cooler day, it is very comfortable. It's great to just sit around the pool and relax. The boardwalk is right outside the door as is the unbelievably large Wildwood Beach. It's great for walking and enjoying the waves. The kitchens are fully stocked with everything that a family might need if they're on a budget and want to forego eating out too much. It's great for me since I'm on a special diet and can bring some of my own food. The beds are very comfortable and having more than one TV will stop some viewing arguments. I usually share the room with two other people in May but this September I chose to get a room by myself. Both were wonderful. I attend with a caregiver group and this is our favorite respite location. I can't wait to return next May again.

This is one of my favorite places to stay while in Wildwood the rooms are big and always kept very clean. The staff is always friendly and professional. The hotel sits right on the beach! I highly recommend this place
Family Activities
Beach
Families are only steps away from the wide beaches of Wildwood and the Atlantic Ocean.
Outdoor Pool
Hit the beachfront pool and you'll feel like a Wildwood V.I.P. It's in the perfect location right next to the ocean, so you can check out the action on the beach without getting all sandy. The heated pool is surrounded by plenty of comfy lounge chairs, and there's a separate kid's pool for youngsters.
Game Room
Keeping with Wildwood's vintage theme, the Adventurer Inn's game room features fun, classic arcade-style video games. It's a great place for older kids and teens to get some energy out on a rainy day.
Bike Rentals
Head to Green's Bike Rentals, located adjacent to the inn for hourly bike and surry rentals. Biking is permitted on the boardwalk until 11 a.m.
Family Dining
Adventurer Pancake and Family Restaurant
The views are great at the Adventurer Inn's oceanfront restaurant, the Adventurer Pancake and Family Restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's no breakfast buffet here in the morning, but families can choose from favorites like eggs, bacon and, of course, pancakes! The Adventurer Pancake and Family Restaurant is popular with families regardless of whether or not they're guests at the hotel -- locals and Wildwood visitors who aren't staying at the Adventurer Inn frequent the eatery. This restaurant does have a kids' menu.
There's only one onsite restaurant at the inn, but a variety of restaurant options on the boardwalk are just a short walk (or tram car ride) away.
Planning & Tips
All About the Extras
The front desk staff at the Adventurer Inn is friendly and welcoming, so families should feel free asking questions about local activities and attractions. There's a big case of brochures featuring things to do in the area in the lobby, which is helpful if you need activity ideas.
Groceries
If you're booking a suite with a kitchenette, you can stock up at the Acme supermarket (5300 Park Boulevard), which is located just a short drive away from the Adventurer Inn. There's also a Wawa (418 West Rio Grande Avenue) nearby that sells hoagies, soda, snacks and prepackaged foods like sandwiches and fruit.
Laundry
Coin-operated laundry facilities are available on site.
Wi-Fi
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.
The Art of Smart Timing
Room rates vary by season. You'll get the cheapest rates by traveling in spring or fall. Of course, summer rates are most expensive. Book rooms well in advance for best availability, especially during warm-weather weekends.
Getting There
Atlantic City International Airport is about 45 minutes from the hotel.
Getting Around
The Adventurer Inn provides free parking for one car per room; this is wonderful to have on summer weekends when virtually every parking spot in town appears full. Wildwood is a great town to walk or bike through as well.
For Mom and Dad
The adults will love the calming sound of the ocean from your beachfront room.
